Metalizing
GNWC crews have applied well over a million square feet of thermal sprayed zinc coatings to concrete and steel bridges. We have also applied aluminum and zinc/aluminum alloys both for research projects and production work over the years.
Depending on the site requirements and size of project, we can apply metalizing coatings, utilizing either arc spray or flame spray equipment. In addition to bridges, we can apply thermally sprayed metalized coatings on water tanks, culverts, steel water and gas lines, ships, boats, docks and in place piling. As well as applying sacrificial anode coatings, we have recently started applying zinc and aluminum based anti-skid coatings. This type of anti-skid coating is extremely durable and has a life expectancy that is measured in decades rather than years as compared to epoxy or polyester based coatings. |
