Founded in 1974 as a painting company, the company has expanded its expertise and has since been involved in many types of corrosion control, structural repairs and contracting.
In the last 30 years the company has completed numerous bridge restoration projects along the Oregon Coast for the Oregon Department of Transportation utilizing both impressed current and galvanic cathodic protection to preserve the states historic bridges.
Our crews have repaired railroad bridges, tunnels, crack injected structures and reinforced structures with FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) reinforcement systems.
Projects the company worked on have been featured in professional and media sources including Pacific Builder & Engineer magazine, The Oregonian newspaper, and on The History Channel program Modern Marvels.
GNWC continues on with this rich history of construction and continues to move the company into the 21st century.
